Izu was kidnapped...But I talked it out with Satoshi-kun, Shuboh, and Haru...Ranzuhi came too...Although...I think it was more akward than ever with Ran & Satoshi-kun side by side...I still feel guilty towards Satoshi...but you can never help who you fall in love, right?

Anyway, back to issue at hand, we had the plan worked out and everything. And it was perfect except for one minor flaw...I had to be the bait T-T You heard me right. The plan was for me to stand alone near the place that Izu-chan & Satoshi-kun got attacked...Then when the bandits came, they'd take me back to the place where they're keeping Izumi and the the rest of the guys would follow us...It worked, but lemme tell ya, that guy had roaming hands -_-" I was so close to kicking him where it counts, but I looked back at the guys and nodded painfully in understanding. The things I'll do for friends, eh?

So we got to the place, some rundown old shed on the mountains and nothing like Mt. Reikakuzan (Lige-san). But while it was still a crappy place for a hideout, there were still a lot of tough looking bandits in there...I found Izumi and the guys cut us loose from the window (*see my beautiful picture to the right. I think you can guess who everyone is ^^)

But...just as we were about to crawl through the window, we got caught...The bandits all ganged up on us, but right when they were about to pounce on us, Ranzuhi & Satoshi smashed through the wood in the window and jumped in. 

"You three get away from here!" I yelled to Haru & Shuboh while handing Izumi to them.
"B-But what about yo---"
"Me? This is a once in a lifetime smackdown. You'd really think I'd pass it up?" I winked and sent them off. I really am the biggest idiot in both the Universe of the Four Gods and the real world.

It all happened...so fast. While I tried to help the two of them fall back and escape, I got careless and one of the guys jumped on me...Then Ranzuhi...God Ranzuhi...He grabbed the guy and started to beat the hell out of him...when out of nowhere the same guy who stabbed Satoshi stabbed Ranzuhi...right in the middle of his chest. Satoshi saw what happened and ran over as fast as he could and we all high-tailed it out of there and into the forest...but I was speechless. We met up with Izu, Haru, and Shuboh near a small pond...Heh, the same one Ran got knocked into while I was taking a bath...But even then, he was protecting me...

To make a long story short...This is kind of how it went...
Me: Ran...Don't worry! *smiles faintly* I'll wrap that wound so nice and fast that we'll be back in my world in no time...*grabs his hand* So just hold on, 'kay?
Ranzuhi: *smiles and touuches her face* H-Hikari...You don't know how happy I am to have met you...to be able to feel th-this way...*chuckles* I only regret not being able to see my family one last time before---
Satoshi: SHUTUP!
Me: S-Satoshi?
Satoshi: *clenches the grass* Don't you dare talk like that! You are not leaving her all alone you hear me?! You leave her and I'll...I'll...
Ranzuhi: *smiles softly* You'll kill me?
Satoshi: *punches him in the face*
Me: Satoshi! *holds him back* NO!! *starts crying* P-Please...
Satoshi: *lets down*
Ranzuhi: Hi...Hika...ri...
Me: *leans into him* Don't say anything! Izumi should be coming with help from the palace anytime soo---
Ranzuhi: *places a finger over her lips* Let me say it...one more time...
Me: *holds his hand and nods*
Ranzuhi: *smiles and closes eyes* ...Wo...wo ai...n...
Me: *eyes widen* ...Ran? Ran?! N-No---Ran, finish it!! Say it! I...*cries on his chest and whispers* I want to hear it...

We're back in the real world, with the help of Taiitsukun. We dropped Ran's...body back to his family's and had the funeral for him there. Me? I'd say I'm doing just as well as a one-legged elephant...
Ran...Ran, can you hear me? I'll finish your sentance for you...Ran...Wo ai ni.

...Long story...to tell you all...

First of all, we did end up going back to the book. We met with Emperor Shiku Fuangu ((refer to the much earlier entries)) and we learned that Ranzuhi has to stay in the palace at all costs, since word has broken out about him being the priest of Suzaku and Shiku's adivsors think assassins have been sent both around Konan and my world...

Just as I walked into my room for the night, someone burst open the door and slammed it straight into my face. I was surprised to find out it was Ranzuhi though. Here's how our onversation kind of went...
RAN: Sorry 'bout that Hikari! ^o^;;
ME: Don't worry...I-It's no biggie. *rubs bump and takes a seat at the table* So...what do you want? You wouldn't come this late at night for no reason.
RAN: Um...*takes a seat* You planning on going back to your world tomorrow?
ME: Yeah, I guess...Why?
RAN: *serious* You know I can't go with you...
ME: Is that it? *laugh* Don't worry about me! I'm a celestial warrior, I can kick butt anyday of the week
RAN: T-That's not what I mean...
ME: *dokidoki* Then what do you mean?
RAN: Are you going out with Kajiwara-san?
ME: N-No! Ran, what's gotten into you?
RAN: Nothing.
ME: Then I see no point in this conversation. *walks to bed* Now if you don't mind I'm going to be---
RAN: *runs and throws his arms around her from behind* Let me be with you. I don't care if it means risking my life, I'll come back to your world if it means being with you.
ME: *blush* W-What? You can't be serious, Ran! You're finally home, and his majesty is giving you the best protection there is! And who knows? Maybe more seishii will come to you, that way you don't have to go through the danger of finding them yourself the way my mom did.
RAN: You seriously don't get it. *turns her around* I'm going back with you, not because I wanna get killed. Hikari...I love you. *pulls her into a kiss*
ME: Ran...me too. Wo ai ni! *throws arms around him & kisses him again*

And so that's how it is...No, we didn't do anything dirty that night, but we did sleep in the same bed  I swear, I'll protect you Ran. As long as we're together, nothing will hurt you...nothing.

((I really need to go on more often...but I don't know how you people do it o.O;; Going on things like Myspace, doing your work, and having freetime while still managing to get thousands of comments on your site D: I could never pull that off. Too much to do, too little time...))

I've decided to go back into The Universe of the Four Gods after dinner tonight. There are definitely a couple of reasons...Here are a few:
1. Tasuki's wedding
He finally proposed to Arisa-san so it's only a matter of time until they say their "I do's!"
2. Taiitsukun
We need to talk to her about what we should do. We're wondering if all this research is really worth doing.
3. And of course, Ranzuhi
I've already told you guys about the look he has on his face these days...

So that's it. I've got my things and Ranzuhi's got his outfit on from when we first met, plus some souvenirs Uncle Keisuke gave him for the heck of it -_-"

I have mixed feelings about this...For one thing I don't quite think I should leave Satoshi-kun alone. When we had that talk about him protecting me, I thought he looked so happy...and I don't want to ruin that by just walking out of his life all of a sudden. But then again, I think there's this very pretty girl who's in love with him too so...Perhaps this is for the best. And even if it isn't, I won't be gone away too long...

Will I?

(( I'm back!! Oh ho ho, you know this can't be good on my grades...But anyway, I'll update every so often. As I've said before, don't get mad if I don't comment back...And um, yeah! On with the show!))

Ranzuhi and I have been spending these past weeks researching anything to do with The Universe of the Four Gods again...It's getting prety tiring. Other than that, I've been moving pretty normal with my life. Ran's gotten used to living in this century too, which shocks Dad every so often into thinking how the heck Ran can be so calm about it, when he was a total mess after he arrived out of the book. Just accept he's more sophisticated than you are Dad

So anyway, we haven't found anything so far but we're looking into it. Mom's pretty hesitant, but I sometimes catch her staring at the book. I can tell she wants to go in it again so badly, but she also knows that would ruin the sweet simplicity of life as it is now.

The thing that bothers me the most, though, is when I overhear Tetsuya, Uncle Keisuke, Dad, and Mom's little meetings. They've recently been going on and on about how wrong or right it would be to send me into the book again. To be honest, I dont want it. I want things to stay the same. Sure, it was a nice perk that Ranzuhi came to live with us, but I keep remembering all the bad things that happened to mom, and that scene just before Ran and I left Konan in a flash of red light...

No, let what's done be done. Huh, wish it were that easy...I've noticed Ranzuhi looking sadder these days...He's gotten to be my best friend, but if he's not happy I might have to let him go...

((Eh, I got rid of the jukebox at the bottom because it was ticking me off...it's too bad we can't direct link to gendou anymore though ^^;; ))

*blush* Today was...odd...Remember Beiangu? Well I was running across the street to meet some friends after school and a car almost hit me...but he saved me. That's not the weird thing though...When Ranzuhi and I got home he told me he saw what happened and was so angry he couldn't help me.

"You don't need to worry about that," I said with a smile. "I'm the one who's supposed to be protecting you anyway."

Everything's so peaceful and innocent...I wonder if anything to do with the Universe of the Four Gods will strike again...
